Introduction (Product Introduction)
Benzalkonium Chloride 20% is a multipurpose disinfectant solution based on quaternary ammonium compounds, designed for disinfecting livestock farms, poultry houses, hatcheries, transport vehicles, and entrance footbaths of rearing facilities. Due to its cost-effectiveness and efficiency, this product is one of the best choices for entrance footbaths in farms, significantly contributing to the successful implementation of biosecurity programs.
Composition
Each liter of 20% Benzalkonium Chloride solution contains:
- Benzalkonium Chloride: 200 g
Indications
- Disinfection of eggs before transfer to hatcheries
- Disinfection of hatcheries in poultry farms
- Disinfection of poultry houses, cages, and equipment (drinkers and feeders)
- Disinfection of entrance footbaths, vehicles, and livestock passageways in animal and poultry farms
- Disinfection of livestock pens, maternity pens, calf pens, and veterinary hospitals
- Disinfection of transport trucks
- Disinfection of floors and boots
Dosage & Administration
- For disinfecting poultry houses, equipment, transport vehicles, and footbaths: Dilute 1:200
- For disinfecting eggs and hatcheries: Dilute 1:1000
Note: The duration and dosage of use should be determined by a veterinarian or clinician.
Precautions
- Use appropriate protective clothing, gloves, mask, and goggles while handling; avoid inhaling vapors or spray.
- Ingestion is hazardous; it is caustic to the skin and may cause irritation.
- In case of eye contact, rinse with clean water and consult a doctor.
- Use only in well-ventilated areas.
- Keep away from water sources, food, and animals.
Storage Conditions
- Store in tightly closed containers in a cool place.
- Prepared solution is usable for up to 24 hours.
