Product Introduction:
Sulfatrim 48® is a potentiated sulfonamide composed of
Sulfadiazine 40% and Trimethoprim 8%, designed for the prevention
and treatment of bacterial infections in poultry, calves, lambs, and kids. Through
the synergistic effect of its two active ingredients, it effectively inhibits a wide range of
pathogenic bacteria.
Composition:
Each liter of solution contains:
- 400 g Sulfadiazine
- 80 g Trimethoprim
Indications:
For the control and treatment of various gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases caused by
bacteria sensitive to Sulfadiazine and Trimethoprim, such as:
- Escherichia coli
- Corynebacterium
- Pasteurella
- Salmonella
- Staphylococcus and Streptococcus species
Dosage & Administration:

Contraindications:

Sulfatrim 48® must not be administered to laying hens producing eggs for
human consumption. -
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to sulfonamides or suffering from severe
hepatic or renal impairment.
Drug Interactions:

polypeptide or aminoglycoside antibiotics. -
Avoid using the product in acidic water with a pH below
6.
Withdrawal Period:
Poultry: Stop medication 5 days before slaughter.
Calves, Lambs, Kids: Stop medication 3 days before slaughter.
Precautions:
- The prepared medicated solution should be used within 24 hours.
Storage Conditions:
- Store in a dry place at 15–30°C, away from light and protected from freezing.
